Ros originally joined Act as an Associate Producer and General Manager having been involved in theatre production for over 10 years. Productions for Act include Wind in the Willows (Duchess/Vaudeville), Uncle Vanya (Vaudeville) and The Turn of the Screw (Almeida). 

Starting at the Old Vic Theatre in 2004, Ros worked on two seasons of Kevin Spacey's theatre company. As an associate producer for Old Vic Productions she was involved in the original London production of Billy Elliot the Musical (Victoria Palace); Swimming with Sharks (Apollo); The Vagina Monologues (UK tour) and Vincent River (Trafalgar Studios). Other work as an Associate or Co-producer includes: The Rise and Fall of Little Voice​ (Vaudeville); Well (Apollo); Three Days of Rain (Apollo); The Fastest Clock in the Universe (Hampstead/Leicester Curve) and Spring Awakening (Novello).

Recent credits for Ros Povey Productions include:  Fings Ain't Wot They Used T'be (Theatre Royal Stratford East); The Man Jesus (UK Tour); Di and Viv and Rose (Vaudeville) and Around the World in 80 Days (St James Theatre).

Ros is a member of SOLT, sits on the Stage One Bursary Panel and received an award from the Start-Up Fund for New Producers to co-produce Love Story the Musical, which received an Olivier nomination for Best New Musical in 2011.
