It's a tense, overwrought play that explores the terrifyingly slight distance between persecutor and persecuted. Jeremy Herrin's smooth production takes rough justice in its stride. Tom Goodman-Hill is vivid as frantically powerless Gerardo. Anthony Calf convinces as trapped, ambiguous Dr Miranda.
